Back But None

A minimalist journey about solitude and patience.
You can't even see yourself — only deep blue and the keys.
Begin the journey
* takes several hours · no guidance · only buttons and time
In an endless deep blue, you have to return to the origin. No markers, no feedback, not even yourself. Only the touch of keys and the passing time. Do you believe you are moving? Do you believe the origin exists?

/// Series evolution

From visible to invisible, from information to nothingness. Five versions, gradually stripped down to pure concept.
1

Origin visible

Coordinates, distance, timer displayed. You know where you are and where to go. But movement is extremely slow — a journey of several hours.

2

Origin disappears

The visual marker of the origin is removed, but UI remains. You can only sense proximity via numbers, never see the goal.

3

UI fades

Only yourself remains — a tiny blue dot on deep blue background. No position, no distance, only the sensation of movement.

4

Total unknown

Even your own avatar vanishes. Pure deep blue screen, nothing drawn. You press blindly, trusting that you are moving.

5

Edge awareness

Screen-boundary mechanism: moving within a limited area pushes the "map". Still no visual feedback, but spatial sense builds in the mind.

/// Begin your slow return

All versions are free to download. No installation required — double-click and play. Version 5 is recommended for first experience: it’s closest to the essence of “unknown”.
